File recovery?
I think I might have downloaded a virus. So after doing a system recovery all was well so I thought. I have my computer set with different accounts for each family member (My son,wife and myself). My account and my sons account are fine. My wifes account lost all her files, pics and videos. She was using the administrator account.
IS there a way to recover the pics and movies?
I tried doing a file search but all that comes up is pics in my folder or my sons. I was told that most likley my pics and such are ther its just a matter of finding and recovering them can anyone help?

Try recuva, it's free and will find deleted files even after a format unless the drive has been shredded with a file shredder.

If your administrator search and use advanced options, within last year. Let me know cause we have 90% chance to recover if deleted.
use system restore. it is on you're computer somewhere.
what it does is: you select a date previous to the present then the computer loads itself to what it looked like on that specific date you entered.
Yes, easy.
When you start the computer, tap F10 and wait.
It will ask you to when you want it to be recovered to.
Go to the date that the computer last had its files.
Hit recover and wait.
(If F10 doesn't work, look at the bottom of the screen for the F key you need to press, it could be F2.)
