How can you recover deleted files on your computer?
I've tried Recuva but it didn't find any video or music files. A lot were deleted by someone else using my computer so I am very curious on how I can recover these. I know the files aren't COMPLETELY gone–otherwise FEDs couldn't find diaries and such from criminals. But are there ways to restore available to the general public?

I've used undelete (http://www.diskeeper.com/undelete/undelete.asp?ad=go14&apid=PPS0001066&rid=10315&gclid=CP7q7rKC6YwCFQ1XQAodYgSl2Q) and has worked reasonably good for me. There're always files that can't be recovered but this program helps a lot.
Try using Undelete Plus. It will find files that can be recovered and will find audio and video files. Download it from here:

Just curious. Have you checked your "Trash Can" They might be there.
