Alright most laptops come with a resotre ability. it is usually F11 or F12. but if this doesn’t help try F8 to bring up the boot comand list, boot into safe mode, this way you can bypass the reqirements for log in. while there make a new account and give it administrative privlages. then restart the computer and see if oyu can log into your new account then try to delete the old account. you might not be abel to wiht out the password, but it is worth a try.
If you are unable to do this, go to the microsoft web site and order a free copy of vista 64bit. the reaosn it’s free is because all of our operating systems for vista came as a 32nit and microsft had to offer a 64 bit version back then so now they will send you a new disk for $10 shipping. just do a search on their site for 32bit to 64 bit vista upgrade. after a little searching you will find the order page.
When the disk arives you just slip it in, and use the keycode on the bottom of the laptop to reinstall a new copy of windows makesure to do a quick format. This way yopu will end up with a new oeprating system and a fresh install, not a bad idea.
On a different computer you will need to go to the sony website and download the drivers for your laptop and save them to a thumb drive then load the drivers onto the laptop. this way you canhave sound, better graphics and the internet oooo.
Hope this helps, oneof these solutions if not all of them WILL help you!
Good luck!
EDIT: Murcuri’s good, but sorry buddy, you’re not as good as me
You’d need that recovery disc. Otherwise it’s like trying to start a car without an engine.
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com go there on another computer, download the iso and burn that to a disc. Start up the laptop and insert that disc it’s a boot disc so it should boot to it. If not you’ll have to change your boot order to boot to disc drive first. Then I can’t remember when inside the program but you can erase the password with it. Once the password is erased you’ll be able to get back into Windows no problem. I’ve done it before just can’t remember where that part of the program is at.
