How to recover deleted files from a memory card?
I inserted my camera memory card into a slot in my computer and was copying files to various folders on my hard drive, and then deleting the files from the memory card as I went along.
I copied two files from one of the memory card folders, but when clicked ‘delete’ to remove just those files from the card I had recently copied to the hard drive, ALL the files in that particular folder vanished.
I know the files are still on the memory card, so my question is ~ how do I recover them?

It seems that you accidentially deleted the photos or the card is corrupt.
It’s actually very possible if you haven’t done anything else since the deletion and if you have the right software. I’ve successfully recovered photos taken months ago and after several in-camera formats with Lexar’s Image Rescue 3. Z-A-R is considered to be very good. I haven’t tried it myself but I’ve heard great things about it so I’d suggest trying it first.
You may need to spend some time sorting through the recovery results to find the photos you want, that is if you even get to choose. I’d suggest formatting the card when you have done all that you can to reduce the chances of corruption in the future.
Actually they are gone from your memory card, theres no way of getting them back from the memory card. If you still have them on your computer then you can copy them back on the memory card.
