rather than messing with the bios you can simply press f12 at switch on then select cd/dvd drive to boot from.
hope this helps
If you use the recovery discs, they’re going to wipe out all your data. To use them though, you need to actually boot to your DVD-drive. Toshibas, by default, boot to the HD first. You need to go to the BIOS and change it so it boots to the DVD drive first.
try to start ur computer in safe mode.
if the same error is there then remove ram and clean with dry cloth and put back. then check.
format ur present operating system and reinstall
still same error
then get new ram.
do all this with computer hardware engineer.
he will tack ur all backup
format will erase ur all data.
something that you downloaded,updates,f8 safe mode, system restore
back to a point were the last thing that was install it will restore before the install, windows update can cause problem ,not the sercuity updates

i own a toshiba terca 9000 10 years old working like a charm
try last known good configuration first
if works fine
then safe mode and try a system restore
both options do not work every time
last resort
recovery disk which normally will format and put system back to defaults
