if your PC is an OEM (HP, Compaq, etc.) you should be able to get a restoration disk through the manufacturer depending on how old it is. Otherwise, you could just go out to just about any store that sells software and pick up a copy of Windows, full version, not upgrade. It’s expensive to do it that way, but then you don’t have to worry about all the junk ware that the OEM restoration disk would install alongside Windows.
I suggest going to your local votech school and asking them if they will work on your computer and just tell them to reload the entire computer. That is what I suggest to most people as the school is normally looking for things to do with their students and the students are more than willing to help you out normally in a timely manner.
Since you don’t have a disc to reload the computer I would also ask if you could possibly get a disc to recover with as well.
